I was born and raised in Springfield, Virginia. I am a second year student at American University in Washington DC, studying Journalism and Art History. I write for Her Campus, and I am a part of the executive board working on social media editing. I have experience with copy editing on AMLit, American University's literary magazine. I am interested in writing about life and culture. This summer I will be interning at Alexandria Living Magazine. As well as my passion for writing, I enjoy visiting art museums and trying new restaurants.
